Félicien created a collective with the help of contemporary talented musicians in keeping with his approach.
To begin with he created, Le Pari des Bretelles a blend of his blowing and the bowing of the bass player Édouard Macarez and the Quatuor Hermès. For this sextet, he commissioned Thibault Perrine for a piece of ‘high brow’ music inspired by accordion music repertoire, Suite Musette, and several arrangements of works by Gershwin, Prokofiev and Piazzolla.
Continuing with this approach, he devises duos that resonate far and wide due to tours all over France with the bass player Édouard Macarez (soloist with the Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France), clarinettist Renaud Guy-Rousseau (soloist with the Orchestre National de France) and mandolinist Julien Martineau. A novel trio also came together in January 2019, bringing together Romain Leleu on the trumpet and Thomas Leleu on the tuba with Félicien for the first time.
