TRIO WITH TRUMPETER ROMAIN LELEU AND TUBA PLAYER THOMAS LELEU

Two hugely talented artists, the Leleu brothers, joined each other on stage for the first time for a full concert programme. Each fulfilling successful careers as soloists, Thomas on the tuba and Romain on the trumpet, they wanted to perform on stage not accompanied this time by the accordion played by Félicien, not the piano.

The ability to play all styles of music, from Baroque to French chanson and from romantic works to Tanz Fantaisie by the amazing Thierry Escaich; the ability to mix up their roles, to confuse matters, featuring a virtuoso tuba, a mellifluous trumpet and a sometimes singing, sometimes orchestral accordion; the ability to touch and move, served by the generosity inherent to the playing displayed these three instrumentalists. Blowing and bellows, blades and valves, brass and mother-of-pearl fuse together for this tuneful concert exuding a tuneful passion for music, tuneful passionate music …
