ASSOCIATED COMPOSERS
From project to project, Félicien is constantly defending the need to create a new repertoire around his instrument. Since his meeting in 2016 with the composer Thibault Perrine, he has been involved in a process of regular commissions and creations.
To this end, he calls upon numerous contemporary composers, often from diverse aesthetics, such as Thierry Escaich, Stéphane Delplace, Cyrille Lehn, Jean-François Zygel, Patrice d’Ollone, Domi Emorine, Corentin Apparailly and Artem Nyzhnyk.
They have established a more specific relationship with three young French composers, each of whom wrote several pieces for accordion at Félicien’s request: Thibault Perrine, Fabien Waksman and Thomas Enhco. A few words about these associated composers and their works for accordion…
